Dr Raffi Qasabian

Dr Raffi Qasabian is a Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon based in Sydney, with clinical appointments at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Mater Misericordiae Hospital.
Dr Qasabian is a member of the Australian and New Zealand Society of Vascular Surgeons, and has been newly appointed to the NSW Regional Committee of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. He is a lecturer and co-ordinator of the Surgical Course for 3rd year medical students at the Central Clinical School of the University of Sydney.
Following completion of his surgical studies in Australia, Dr Qasabian undertook a Fellowship year at St Thomas’ Hospital in London, where he gained valuable experience in open and endovascular surgical techniques.
Since returning to Sydney, he has established a practice in vascular surgery with a particular interest in:
Aneurysm disease
Carotid artery surgery
Peripheral arterial disease (PAD)
Diabetic feet
Varicose vein surgery
Vascular insufficiency in diabetics
Minimally invasive vascular interventions:
Balloon angioplasty and stenting for PAD
Endoluminal stent-grafting of aneurysms
Thoracoscopic sympathectomy for excessive sweating
Renal transplant and access for dialysis
